A few thoughts:
- The Green Knight owes a lot to this, right? Some visual parallels were clicking for me, and then I realized both featured unusually nebbish protagonists on a journey to increase their status in society.
- The reverend’s face looks like it belongs in a painting.
- Barely clocked the people behind Barry turning into a painting right before the final confrontation. Does this happen more than once? (Edit: 🤦♂️ it’s not a painting, it’s just an incredible shot and none of them move)
