I have never seen a book so perfectly adapted to the screen. The casting, the storyline, the FEEL of the movie are all completely in line with the book. Javier Bardem gives the Joker a run for his money as greatest on-screen psychopath.

Boris Karloff and Colin Clive are so perfect in their roles. Fantastic job with doing their own spin on the story while still staying true to the spirit of it.

Fun buddy cop story with a bunch of laugh-out-loud scenes, but I was disappointed once again that producers feel they can’t sell a movie unless they show nude women. I’m tired of my gender being reduced to just a body to bang.

Whoop-de-doop if this movie was influential, but I don't give a crap. The director certainly didn't give a crap about Bram Stoker's masterpiece. The whole thing is boring, and filled with filler scenes and lame overacting. There are only 3 good scenes, and combined they take about 2 minutes of this 90-minute disappointment: the vampire appearing from the darkness of his castle, his ghostly image aboard the ship, and his shadow creeping up the stairs and seizing Ellen's heart. Just go read the book.
