I'm almost certainly not going to watch this film ever again. It was amazing and unbelievably affecting. The acting was superb. So it isn't out of distaste for the quality of the film that I'm not going to rewatch it. It's because of how well it accomplished its emotional goals. I was utterly disturbed by pretty much every part of the film after the initial ten or fifteen minutes.
This was a tough one to rate. I loved the world-building, but some of the pacing was a bit too... I guess "dated" would be the right word. I'm not sure if that's a problem with the film, or if it's a problem with me as a modern moviegoer. The acting was good, though. And as with most Philip K. Dick stories, the plot was engaging and interesting. So 3.5 stars it is, though maybe it deserves another star.
