After a bit of a hiatus from his usual British gangster flicks, Guy Ritchie is back with what might be his best yet. I love Snatch, RocknRolla, and Lock/Stock, but this takes Ritchie’s classic style to another level. Glad I waited to see this in theaters rather than the screener that’s been going around. Seeing it with some friends in a packed house (with seats we snagged last minute) was a perfect environment for a movie like this. All the 5/5 ratings and rave reviews had me skeptical at first, but it exceeded my expectations.
