"...What shall I say when my lord comes a calling? What shall I say when he knocks on my door? What shall I say when his feet enter softly? Leaving the marks of his grave on my floor..."

For the past few years, I've been taking great advantage of the 50% flash sales that the Criterion Collection would put out, which lead me to buying all sorts of films to help…

The first movie I ever saw in theaters (at least, from my recollection). The reasons for why I not only love Disney, but movies in general and how that became my #1 defining passion throughout most of my life can all be summed up with the opening shot of this movie, with the rising African sun in the distance, the first vocal note of "Circle of Life" filling the air, and myself instantly getting the chills even after 25 years.…

    ROAD TO BOND 25 | MOVIE #2

"There's a saying in England: Where there's smoke, there's fire."

Another one I hadn't seen in a while. Nearly forgotten how much of a better movie this was in comparison to the previous film. Originally, I was gonna call this new marathon series ROAD TO DIE, but I didn't want give anyone the wrong impression.

Anyways, this was nice revisiting the first entry…

    Dear Sir Ridley Scott,

If you have any plans at all to make anymore follow-ups to your classic works (Gladiator, Legend, Thelma & Louise, etc), just give them all to Denis Villeneuve and his team. I have a very strong feeling that they would make them even better than what you originally conceived.
    Dear Academy,

If Roger Deakins doesn't receive his first Oscar for Best Cinematography at next year's award ceremony, best be making them plans for retirement...
    Dear Box Office Employee,

May I have another ticket please?
