Thewlis plays Johnny. With a very high intellect, he considers most people to be below him. He is pretty much misanthropic hating everyone but mostly a chauvinist. He also gets bored with things easily and tries to get cheap thrills. The way he wears a normal long black coat makes him look cool. Only Thewlis could have pulled it off. But Johnny is not a likeable guy.
