George Tarleton’s review published on Letterboxd :
Melodramatic, blind, and stupid defense of Stalin's Russia. Production was overseen by Joseph Davies, ambassador to Russia. This is based on his book. He paints himself as something of a prophet, called to defend Russia to the Western allies. He's played with great solemnity and earnestness by the usually great Walter Huston.
The depiction of Stalin, Churchill, and FDR are utterly laughable.
I hope everyone involved grew to be ashamed of this ridiculous endeavor.
