    Whiplash was incredibly intense and I loved it and hated it. I felt like it glorified and validated abusive behavior, and ultimately excused it because it was all "for the sake of art," as though that excuses abuse. The end of the movie felt like an orgasmic climax through music and that was exhilarating, but overall this one just left me feeling kinda...dirty.
