  Anyone who compares this film to Crash (1996) is full of shit. Crash (1996) was about fucking. Titane (2021) is about family, and gender. In fact, it's so good at gender I am deciding right now it is the only good film ever made about gender. Thanks, Titane (2021).

  I despise the Criterion description of this film because it makes House seem like it isn't about anything, which is bullshit. This house has many doors. It's about saying goodbye to all your favorite kinds of people as you prepare for a life of domesticity you didn't ask for.
