Man, this film has aged horrendously. How did I ever think this was good? The good: Westerberg songs, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden. The Bad: literally everything else.
Not awful, just ordinary... those in-jokes and meta-references that once seemed so clever and fresh now just feel tired, and it's way too drawn-out and repetitive. Still, Craven delivers a few suspenseful sequences and the 'teen' cast provide some youthful energy even if the old-timers (Campbell, Cox, Arquette) clearly just turned up for the pay cheque.
