I remember back in '06 when the trailers for this movie showed in front of other releases and I really wanted to see it. Well, 13 years later, I've finally gotten around to it.
I dig the idea of M. Night making a modern fairy-tale but the execution here is goofier than intended. A lot goofier. The things keeping this movie afloat are Paul Giamatti, some well-done moments by Shyamalan and the great music. The rest is meh at best. Wish I could say more positive things.
