I don’t want to make it a habit to give up part way through movies but my free time is limited, I could see this was very long, and I can’t handle another crap-ass adaptation of real-life events with every awkward line of dialogue telling me everybody’s resume and telling me who’s related and telling me what’s happening elsewhere and a zillion other things nobody would ever bother saying to somebody else. Maybe I’ll try this again with the sound off.

Did not make it through this. Attempts to expand the “Charle’s Angels” world in wildly creative, underwhelmingly bland ways. These are definitely not your father’s Charlie’s Angels, whose strength was tempered by personal vulnerability, and professionalism infused with mischievous fun. No way! These new Charlie’s Angels are boring as shit and not even all that easy on the eyes. Go away you stupid movie.

They should have gone to Altamont and saved that kid, too. This is an inspirational, optimistic film that says if we trust our core skills, and depend on each other’s unique contributions during tough times, we can beat evil, and avoid potentially terrible turns of history. It really does say that. Plus it’s so much better that that ponderous piece of junk “The Hateful Eight.”

Wish I better understood the political machinations happening here, but still entertaining enough despite my ignorance.
