Not to sound old but there were a few lines of dialogue in this movie that had me going "teens really talk like this? like...out loud??" Love the Mandela Effect shout out though. Whoever wrote that little monologue - keep up the good work.
Overall, Skate Kitchen is a really sweet coming of age film. I loved the dynamic between all of the main cast. The girls are all so varied in personality, but form a pretty believable bond through their love of skating. Rachelle Vinberg particularly gives a great, though subdued, performance as the film's lead, Camille.
The film looks really nice as well. Skating is such a wonderfully dynamic sport/hobby, it's hard to make it not look good on-screen.
