    FINALLY A DECENT X-MEN MOVIE?

    Good storyline, decent characters, fun fights, and fairly memorable scenes throughout. The dialogue is only okay and some of the plot goes a bit too far into the absurd (to be fair, it’s just the final act of the film that gets a little weird). 

    But… I liked it!

    The X-Men movies are simply… not good. And that’s a hard realization to come to as an adult because kid-me really loved them. This was my first time watching this particular movie and it just wasn’t a particularly enjoyable experience.

    It was a good introduction to the multiverse and the time-bending, universe-shifting, physics-manipulating ideas that will become increasingly important as the MCU progresses.

    Doctor Strange is so unlikable that I had trouble figuring out why I should care about his trials and tribulations.

    THIS IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED FILM. 

    Is this the first time in the films that we get a close up of a Stormtrooper, not as a ST, but as a human being? I don’t know anything about camera work, but the camera is shaky, up close and personal as we see Finn break away from the Stormtrooper persona.
