There's some seriously funny stuff here, and almost all of it can be contributed to John Cena. Trainwreck, Sisters, and now Blockers. He's the best part of each of those films, and luckily this is the best of those films, though they're not exactly comparable. This is more-or-less Superbad from a different perspective. The scenes focused on the teenagers aren't nearly as strong, and it almost seems like the actual production quality declines. As a comedy, it's a bit stop-and-start, but most of the key comedic set pieces are funny enough to recommend.
