The 1992 Candyman is one of my favorite horror films. It feels like I have been hearing about this sequel for years and eagerly anticipating what this retelling might look like. It was worth the wait.
This film skillfully breaths new life into the familiar legend while incorporating and honoring the original. The two stories blend together into a narrative that elevates them both while it builds to a very satisfying ending.
