“Pretty good, son, but it’s no DEJA VU.”— Denzel, I hope
Mostly entertaining but gets pretty bogged down in the second half. I don’t really care to untangle much of it. Nolan has this weird thing where he pushes genre dynamics toward abstraction but then eats a lot of time wandering these cul-de-sacs of exposition. Deeply silly yet I was often compelled.
