The Strangers: Prey at Night ★★★

Intermittently qualifies as an entry in what Roger Ebert called 'Bruised Forearm Movies.' Doesn't reach the heights of, say, TTCSM or THE GUEST, but offers horror-helplessness-pleasures approaching that level. I liked this better than, say, YOU'RE NEXT.

Hopefully the sequels explore more of the trailer park dynamics that make this dead end milieu uniquely scary.
