First rate actioner with Liam Neeson,  if you love this kind of film. The concept is good: Neeson is a wealthy yuppie executive in Berlin, who is commanded by a stranger to drive a car with a bomb under his seat. If he gets off the car, the bomb explodes… To add to his misery, just that morning he agreed to take the kids to school… So the kids are in for the ride with the bomb…

Not bad, but not good. The movie looks good, is decently acted, but it’s basically mediocre. Matt Reeves strives for transcendence and epicness through… a punishing running time of almost 3 hours.

Atrociously acted and a very timid and bizarre vehicle if the idea was to address racism today. Could they find something creakier and more dated than this? It’s also unbearably boring.
