It’s no doubt this film has exceeded expectations this year. With covid affecting movie goers for the past couple years, it was a wonder when blockbusters would return. I’m personally surprised that not only did this film succeed it is already one of the highest grossing films of all time. Circumstances aside, I think Spiderman: No Way Home is a decent film. Like a Dragon 2007

Very loosely follows the Yakuza video game series. Miike tries his best to compress a 40 hour game into a 2 hour runtime. There’s lots of subplots that don’t really go anywhere and characters are introduced then never used. I can’t tell if it mimics the game series really well or really badly.
