A little too cheesy at times, just in how Tate Taylor directs the film. The cast is great, and some scenes really do produce great emotion out of both the viewer and the characters (some that really impacted me). Didn't even feel like 2 and a half hours as well.
I have some question for my past self as I read my old review of this. On a rewatch, the pacing didn't bother me at all.
