Jarand’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Demoni films make for excellent midnight movie goodness. While the sequel never reaches the feverish heights of the first one (no motorbike combat, coke fueled street racing and slightly softer gore) and rehashes the meta narrative without expanding on it beyond changing the format from cinemas to TV, it does still offer a solid piece of flesh eating mayhem.
There are a lot of weird little goofs here, like the inconsistent demon make up, but I could watch the kitschy 80s look and soundtrack over a pregnant woman being chased by a weird demon-gremlin born from the chest cavity of a small boy for hours. In fact with it’s closed off high tech apartment building and the myriad of demon variations it feels like Demoni 2 predicted Gremlins: the new batch.
