  Quintessential 90s camp that holds up for nostalgia-smitten fans but would also, I think, appeal to younger generations. (Except for Hartnett’s haircut). Early Rodriguez was all the way based.

  The funniest movie I’ve seen this year and it’s not even close. Also, it made me the weird, openly-weeping-on-an-airplane guy. Again. Why is that always me?

  The rated R Ratatouille we didn’t know we needed. It’s pretentious and on-the-nose in how it calls out pretense but then it folds back on itself and calls that out, too. 

  I cried twice and I have no idea why (it’s not that kind of movie, I need therapy). 

  Bravo. (I never say “bravo” out loud, I don’t know why I wrote that).
