Matthew Helmandottar’s review published on Letterboxd:
Strong acting, visual storytelling, and excellent cinematography. The only thing better than Isaiah Washington’s character at slowly and methodically pulling you in is the film itself. Every small detail - lighting, camerawork, music, even audio mixing - contributes in some way to the film not just cosmetically, but also thematically or from a plot or character perspective. Blue Caprice gives its grim subject matter the respectful diligence it deserves, and with craftsmanship to spare.
