Austin’s review published on Letterboxd:
Maybe the quintessential film adventure; secrets shifting in the sand, covered by slithering snakes and guarded by poison spikes and relentless boulders. Every second feels mythic, every interaction and new bit of action feels legendary, compelled by an urgent fun and grand spectacle. Spielberg's touch is godly, propelling every escalating bit of adventure and every charming character bit into something truly perfect.
Harrison Ford is nothing less than absolutely iconic, inhabiting another character that will exist long after memories of us have faded. And Karen Allen is an essential counterpoint to Ford, their chemistry electric and their tender moments sweet.
Spielberg and Lucas are truly the dream team.
