Austin’s review published on Letterboxd:
The nostalgia of creepy-fun scurrying under cracked fall leaves, the wind turning bitter, hugging the golden orange covering the sidewalk. Pumpkins smiling with a mischief matched only by the spirit of goblins and ghouls hanging in the air, beckoning you to grab an extra piece of candy when the sign says "one only please!"
Dougherty breathes an atmosphere alive with Halloween's spirit, with a corn maze of a narrative, twisting around corners, leaving your smile hanging on the tiny wonder of becoming permanently lost. Feels like dumping your candy bag and realizing you got all your favorites.
