Matthew Bowers’s review published on Letterboxd :
Rented this one more on a whim than anything else. Compelling performances, unfortunately, can't save this film from being a dreary slog. Lead Jacqueline Kim (who co-wrote the screenplay with director Jennifer Phang) is great, as always, but the script is banal and lifeless, the attempt to create a creepy dystopic future dead on arrival. The ideas being discussed here are relevant, to say the least, but their exploration is surface-level at best and fails to delve into them with much depth. Add to that a glacial pace and bland cinematography (I get they were going for a sterile look, but it's mostly just boring), and this just isn't one I can recommend.
