I really don't get the critical response to this movie. I really don't. According to rotten tomatoes this movie is now worse than Paul Blart, The Room,Star Wars Holiday Special and Batman Forever according to Rotten Tomatoes. I personally loved the movie, I got caught up in its themes, its ideas, the action was phenomenal, the acting was great from everybody. I truly don't get how people could think this movie is as bad as it is, I've seen people say it's the worst superhero movie of all time, Yes, worse than Catwoman and Fant4stic. It is not that level of bad.
Does it have problems? Sure, every movie does, the pacing is a bit weird in the middle, I wasn't the biggest fan of Lex, and the justice league stuff was a bit forced, but overall those are the only issues I really had with the movie.

People have been saying they hate how Batman kills in this movie, I can understand that complaint if it weren't for a few things, First, Batman has killed in all of the previous movies before this (Except for Batman and Robin) and he has killed in much more gruesome ways (burning a man ot death with the back of the batmobile)
Second. He never directly kills anyone except for KG beast, and it that time he had no choice, like the Dark Knight Returns, the scene with the batmobile seemed like he was killing them intentionally at first, but that was just a case of him taking them out and not really caring about whether or not they die, hell he has the line later on "Criminals are like weeds alfred, take one out another one grows in its place". Having been Batman for 20 years he doesn't give a shit anymore about whether or not they survive, the death of robin and what happened in metropolis did that to him, as said by alfred "You've changed, you haven't been the same since that man fell from the sky".
Sorry I went on a rant there but I had to get it off my chest, I guess all I'm saying is form your own opinion, I loved the movie, I'm seeing it again in a few days, and I can't wait to see where the DCEU goes.
