The Exorcist III ★★★½

This one was quite the enjoyable effort. Seemingly years of it being heralded as an underrated gem by horror fans this film is seemingly getting the praise is rightfully deserves with the 2-disc collector's edition from Scream Factory which is quite an enjoyable offering that serves up not only a new 2K scan of the theatrical cut but also a director's cut known as Legion.

When I first watched this, I wasn't much of a fan. I was a snobbish little horror shit back then. But now, in my old age, and with the help of Scream Factory's badass release, I like and appreciate this film so much more.
The director's cut eliminates Jason Miller (Damien Karras) from the film altogether, which was William Peter Blatty's original idea for his Legion film. In place of Miller's scenes are deleted scenes featuring Brad Dourif as the Gemini Killer.
Also, the added scenes are full screen and not the best quality.
I'm split on which version I liked better. I can officially say that I am a fan of The Exorcist III.

Quite enjoyable.
