There is no crossing the line, if you’re underneath it. For those above the line, reaching down and grabbing what’s below - moulding it, disrupting it, having your fun with it - that’s acceptable. If you wear the headdress, it can be taken off and stored away when you want to be rich again. You don’t always wear the poor girl’s panties, they’re a fetish, a reminder that you’re above the line, and smashing through it is what you can do.
To cut up through the line from below you need a knife. It may not have any lasting positive consequences, but like going through from above, it’s the satisfaction that comes with breaking through that line that makes it just about worth it.
