There’s a 15 minute sequence in the middle here; starting with that Honky Cat spinning piano, through to the incredible Rocketman sequence, finishing on the neon Climax-esque Benny and the Jets performance in a gay club that genuinely might be the the best ever 15 minutes in a musical, ever.
Everything to do with his family and home life is proper shite, though.
