Honestly? I'm amazed this turned out as well as it did. Spider-Man being loaned to Marvel by Sony had huge implications, and they wasted no time in easily integrating the character in the MCU. He'd be introduced in Civil War, then his solo outing here. It's made with a clear vision, and it's packed with 80s high school (more like John Hughes) movie references. It's just a story of a boy who's trying impress Tony Stark. It's a nice story, and it's a lot of fun. Tom Holland is great, but Michael Keaton puts this over the top, especially with that scene.
Pumped for Far from Home tomorrow. Hearing interesting things from that one, so I'm in for a good time I expect.
