  The more I watch this film, the less I like it. It has one of the weakest screenplays I’ve ever read. Its only saving grace is that Jessie Buckley, Olivia Colman, and Dakota Johnson know how to act amongst a mess.

  “What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly.”   
  Good golly, I am a puddle of a person now. What a truly beautiful and moving film. Kogonada just makes the most wonderfully human films I’ve ever seen. This film gets 5-stars because it made me cry multiple times and that is a huge feat in and of itself.
