I’m changing my opinion to something that might be a little inflammatory. Despite a great central performance and solid photography, this is not a good film. Nolan may well be the worst director of action sequences working today. He has a knack for clunky writing, senseless exposition, and fight scenes bereft of any actual violence or tension.
