Manuel Uberti’s review published on Letterboxd:
We have a quarrel, old Terrence and I. It's been going on for years. He's been right since the beginning, of course, but he knows how stubborn I am. He knows it so well, in fact, that to finally get me on his side he tricks me with a love story. He just knows I cannot resist.
But it's not enough for him. He wants me all the way in, so he throws in the mix imperialism and colonialism, which I hate just as much as I care to see on screen. Still not enough for the old man. He takes Native Americans speaking a specifically made rendition of their own language and asks me to believe them. And I do. I surrender.
You win, Terrence, and you already knew you would have.
