Been buzzed all week to see this again. Second viewing was breathtaking. My chest aches over the fact that a film like this could exist, where every shot is so deep, refined and awe-inspiring. The imagination that has gone in to realising every detail and convention of the book is miraculous. Calling the casting 'perfect' does not do it justice - really want to highlight Charlotte Rampling's performance, I've loved her in other stuff but she delivers in this.
