Force Majeure gave me a year worth of material to ponder about human nature, institution of marriage, tradition, instincts, gender roles, absurdity of life, the indifferent universe, are we ultimately alone.. I can go on and on and on.. And yet all that was told through a relatively simple story on the surface with a great sense humor, beautiful cinematography, moving score and brilliant script.. cinema at its best.
