Bambi 1942
There's something I never see get talked about with Bambi and it's the sound design, or lack thereof.
Really listen for it. There NO foley work anywhere in the movie. Bambi and friends cavort over dry grass and logs, through snow and ice, fleeing as the forest burns around them. There's not a footstep to be heard. All you have is the voice work and the music.
