Excellent folk horror. Visually, it's merely functional, but the script and performances are superb – this sinister drama tightens like a noose.
Gimmicky little horror comedy set mainly in a movie theatre. Features some fun visual gags – the best bits are the movies within the movie, inspired spoofs of 50s B-flicks. However, the script could’ve used punching up – the dialogue is lame. Never quite reaches its full potential as either horror or comedy, but it’s enjoyable enough on a Saturday night.
