Matt Wooldridge’s review published on Letterboxd:
Great to see Momoa leading what appears to be and essentially is a B action movie. But feels like a first class action thriller. It’s the type of vehicle Stallone or Arnie would have taken in the 80s, and nice to see Momoa following in those footsteps.
It’s not balls to the wall action, but when there’s action, it’s smart and well covered. Just when you think it’s all been done, they do a couple of new things here. And Stephen Lang as Momoa’s father is another reason to watch.
