28. lesbian. a deep love and passion for film is the only thing I have going for me.
"You don't seem too upset by what's happened."
"Course I am. I'm traumatized. Who knows if I'll ever come again?"
Okay, so I didn't actually absolutely hate this like I thought I would. For what it is, it isn't all that bad and getting to see Sharon Stone reawaken Catherine Tramell, but at an older and now darker place in her life felt pretty legit. Stone has this power that emanates from her when she takes on the role of…
"Felice stayed, because she loved you. And you went to see her, because you loved her. I can't tell you anything more."
I can't even count how many times I have watched this movie, but it always takes just that one viewing after so long to bring it back to you and remind you of all the ways it still takes your breathe away. I can still remember the summer this movie and story took such a huge chunk of…
"You play like you really love it."
I feel so blessed to have grown up with this movie, it was such a huge part of my childhood, watching it anytime it was on tv with my mom. Penny Marshall has always been such an influence in my life, before I could even realize it and I am so thankful for everything she put out into this world. Her legacy is so precious to me.
This is probably Marshall's most inspirational…
I watched this film twice in the same week because truly, a masterpiece!
I have said before and I will say it again, Lana Turner is the truth. To anybody who doesn't believe in her ability to hold a movie on her shoulders and completely own every piece of it, I highly recommend watching this one.
Turner gives the most beautifully heartbreaking performance. I could go on for miles and miles about how fervent this performance is. How you see…
This is probably some of the most fun I have ever had with a monster horror b-flick!! Fred Ward is an absolute treasure here and definitely one of my all time favorite performances. Ward and Kevin Bacon made a perfect match. This is truly everything I love about 90’s films!! Just some really good freaking stuff here! I definitely am becoming a fan of these horror/sci-fi western type movies.
