Now this is my kind of coming of age. There isn't any like it I've ever seen. A refreshment of nostalgia. An adolescent, pubescent slice of white suburban insecurity. It's difficult to put into words the insurmountable strangeness of the film. It's a straightforward script to be clear, but the effictiveness of its simplicity, the natural performances from each character, and malaise of daily life is captured beautifully.

Melancholia 2011
The 2nd chapter is far more compelling than the 1st, but the wedding sequence is almost filled with enough dread and anxiety as anything I've ever seen.

The World's End 2013
There is nothing in this world quite like Edgar Wright's signature editing, movement, blocking, entertainment value, heart, action, and laughs. Absolutely nothing.

Pieces of a Woman 2020
Pieces of a Woman is a tender portrait of a woman slowly fading into depression, with the best performance I've seen this year in Vanessa Kirby.
