  • A Long Way Down

    A Long Way Down

Many negative reviews but I think it's quite nice. It needs patience because it is saddening, I'd say it's quite depressing in many instances. But it's also uplifting. It's worth watching, especially if you're feeling low.

  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens

    Star Wars: The Force Awakens

What a lovely and refreshing way to follow up on the franchise :) it was awesome, in all of its aspects. BB-8 is the best thing that has ever happened!

  • Love the Coopers

    Love the Coopers

A plethora of cliches. The trailer promises a goofy comedy, you end up with a massive family drama and a laugh every 20 minutes. Incredibly boring.

  • You Don't Mess with the Zohan
  • Pan

It's rare that rewriting a classic really works. This was a great point to that statement.
It's an utter disaster. It changes the sweet story of Peter Pan into something that is borderline terrifying and borderline offensive to the original. While the story of Peter Pan shows us how good it is to be a child and have fun etc, this movie does the exact opposite of that, underlining countless times that being a child is hard and horrible and…

  • Juno

I usually enjoy folk music, but the soundtrack to Juno was irking me throughout the whole movie. The unpleasant harmonies and dumb lyrics were horrible.
The story would be nice and inspiring too if it weren't coated in a thick layer of quirkiness. That dulled it a lot. The unrealistic reactions were also pretty aggravating.

  • Bridesmaids

I haven't seen it when it came out, and now, 4 years of build up later, it just let me down. I expected much more from Wiig and Byrne. I love them on SNL, this was a letdown...

  • Magic Mike XXL

    Magic Mike XXL

It's a dance movie with a bit of stripping. I'm actually surprised by the many positive reviews. The ending is so half-assed, it's actually sad.
The filming and editing is actually quite nice and Channing Tatum is a great dancer.

  • Unfinished Business

    Unfinished Business

Yeah, this was utterly and completely terrible. I don't even know what else to say about it. So half-assed and lazy... it is actuall quite sad because Vince Vaughn can be really good.

  • The Grand Budapest Hotel

    The Grand Budapest Hotel

It is an incredible movie. It's light and beautiful, the design is flawless, a great look into the 1930s. And the score, oh the score is absolutely beautiful, I see why it got the Academy Award. Fiennes bring a lovely performance, which was expected of him and I quite liked Ton Revolori as well. The film is utterly charming.

  • Shame

Its tone is somber and chilly, the characters aren't presented in a trivial way. I would say that this movie isn't focusing that much on sex addiction, its main focus is the environment in which addiction came to be. Fassbender's performance is outstanding, his character is a lone wolf whose relationships have crumbled apart completely, he is detached from his family and his world consists only of his addiction and work until his sister shows up unannounced at his apartment.…

  • Hitman: Agent 47

    Hitman: Agent 47

I was fine with the movie. It isn't the best in the franchise, honestly, it's probably not even close to being the best. But it has its perks. Hannah Ware was quite nice and Rupert Friend was a good Agent, although I do believe his character was a bit too... human? I enjoyed the female lead because it wasn't overwhelmed with romance and she was a "badass in training" who started from a point and grew to be better. The…
