    ★★★★★

This is a masterpiece of storytelling and animation

  • Lost in Translation

    Lost in Translation

    ★★★★½

    What an absolute masterpiece

  • Joker

    Joker

    ★★★½

I like the new Joker design, Joaquin Phoenix's performance is captivating and enjoyable, but the movie is dragged out and it's honestly not that groundbreaking. Sure, the idea is cool, but the incel and antifa themes are, in my opinion, a less pronounced and the media really ran with it. The Joker is mentally ill. Groundbreaking.

  • Spider-Man: Far From Home

    Spider-Man: Far From Home

    ★★★★½

Tom Holland is Spiderman, I love him, no one hurt him. Mysterio was a pretty dope villain in this.

  • Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List

Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List

    ★½

I watched this because Matthew Daddario is in it but son, this was so bad, not even his face could save it

  • Paris Is Burning

    Paris Is Burning

    ★★★★★

Every frame of this documentary is perfect, every aspect of it is heartbreakingly beautiful and I could watch it for eternity and feel for these people until forever. I looked up what happened to them after the movie and it's not a happy story. It should be necessary for everyone to just watch this movie and understand more about one another. I'm happy I finally found it for myself.

  • Unicorn Store

    Unicorn Store

    ★★★★

This spoke to me on a level I wasn't ready for

  • The Legend of Cocaine Island

    The Legend of Cocaine Island

    ★★★

What the fuck through and through but also I wish they would've elaborated more on the questions raised at the end

  • The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

    The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

    ★★★

Some aspects of this documentary definitely cleared up some rumours or lies which were floating around for years, but it was dragged out for longer time than what was needed and it defended the parents and their friends for a very long time, until it sounded like a billboard to the McCanns.
I don't know what happened to Madeleine, I find it hard to point a finger at the parents for actually killing her. But I think it should be stressed that the whole Tapas 9 were neglectful. You almost forget after the fourth episode that the situation they left their children in was wildly inappropriate.

  • Amy Schumer: Growing

    Amy Schumer: Growing

    ★★★

I watched this special with an open mind, the way I watched The Leather Special too. I'm by no means a fan of hers, but I'm also not a hater, I've only really seen her specials and a movie or two. The thing is that no matter how you spin it, the Leather Special was a trainwreck. Growing is objectively better in my opinion. Less gross, more personal and not just the type of personal which talks about how your…

    ★★★½

i want to be careful and gentle with these people but i honestly just want to smack them all across the face

  • Captain Marvel

    Captain Marvel

    ★★★★½

This movie is great, I loved it and all the people crying about it are pretty much just crying for the hell of it. Sure, it had some feminist jokes and tropes in it, but ladies, let's be real, seeing Captain Marvel kick ass to Just A Girl was pretty fucking awesome.
