    tick, tick...BOOM!

I'm not a theater person, I don't know much about any of this musical theater world, but the story is captivating and depressing and Andrew Garfield gave an incredible performance, also, at the cusp of 30, can you guys in Hollywood chill with all this angst? Cause it's hitting a little too close to home, son.

A classic. I may be biased because it was a childhood favorite, but no one talk to me about my opinion. It's the best. I'll watch it anytime.

  • Chicago

    Chicago

    ★★★★

I'm not a huge fan of musicals so I don't normally seek them out, but I thought I'd watch this one since it's such a classic. I knew He Had It Coming and All That Jazz, but everything else, including Richard Gere was a surprise. This was a really fun watch, glad I gave it a chance!

  • The Gentlemen

    The Gentlemen

    ★★★★

Really fun, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant gave such great performances, and Henry Golding needs to be cast in more stuff, he's amazing. I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for these types of movies, I really enjoyed The Men from U.N.C.L.E. too, who would've thought that I had a soft spot for Guy Ritchie of all people? I would've preferred less edgy jokes about race tho.

  • Eyes Wide Shut

    Eyes Wide Shut

    ★★★★½

A lot of confusion, a lot of skinny naked white women, and a lot of class commentary. The dreamlike feel of this movie is amazing.

  • Good Omens

    Good Omens

    ★★★★½

The forbidden romance between an angel and a demon, of course

  • Eternals

    Eternals

    ★★★½

There were times when I would've liked to get to know the characters more, to have time to figure out their powers and motivations, some of it seemed rushed. Overall, much better than what critics were saying, I had fun watching it, I also felt invested in the lives of many of these characters, I think it's a really cool direction Marvel is taking, and I certainly appreciated the diverse cast. Makkari and Druig are so lovely, I cannnot

  • Venom

    Venom

    ★★½

Tom Hardy is fun, but the rest is kinda meh. Also why does Michelle Williams have the most obnoxiously fake looking wig?

  • Girl, Interrupted

    Girl, Interrupted

    ★★★★½

Angelina Jolie is incredible in this. This is such a star studded cast, I didn't realize just how huge this movie was, and considering that it's a classic, I haven't seen it before. The fact that Elizabeth Moss and Brittany Murphy is in it is somehow messing with the timeline of actors for me, which is stupid, but here we are. Can't believe I haven't seen it before, damn...

  • Scenes from a Marriage

    Scenes from a Marriage

    ★★★★★

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a child of divorce myself. But this shit wrecked me emotionally. Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac are incredible performers and those bts cuts somehow just make it even heart wrenching. Incredible performance all around.

  • Rebel Without a Cause

    Rebel Without a Cause

    ★★★★

I understand why James Dean is viewed as an absolute icon. He was brilliant in this role.

  • The Hunchback of Notre Dame

    The Hunchback of Notre Dame

    ★★★★

With an adult's mind, this shit is really dark at times. I quite liked it and the score is incredible, even when the story is kinda boring, the music carries it through. Frollo's villain song is art.
