Inventing Anna 2022
I've heard this woman speak and her accent is nowhere near as insane and grating as it was portrayed here. It was hard to watch, Garner's acting was not subtle at all, she was over the top and inconsistent. The series didn't have a clear direction, it branched out into several stupid details and unnecessary plotlines. The reporter's mostly made up storyline dragged the entire plot forever, I didn't like that we were following a con artist but somehow kept getting lost in the shuffle of random family drama. It ended up becoming too slow, we were dragging our feet to the final part.

The Matrix Resurrections 2021
Man, this just wasn't hitting home for me. There is a lot that Resurrection brings up, from posthumanism to gamification, psychology, etc. But it just scratches the surface of all of these topics, barely giving us insight into any of it, it rushes through new characters, gets lost in the love story and doesn't really say much in the end. This seemed pretentious and unoriginal at the same time, giving us flashbacks to the classic like "oh look how cool this was" and not serving up much more.

King Cobra 2016
I watched this because it had an interesting premise, I enjoy true crime, the exploitative porn industry is a pretty cool start, but then it divulges into a bunch of nothing. All set up, not much delivery. Keegan Allan is not a very good actor and this is like the thousandth time I see James Franco play this role, it's tired.

Theo Von: No Offense 2016
he has some charisma but i'm also annoyed by some of his jokes, they're low hanging fruit and saying controversial or downright racist things so you can make your punchline work... lazy. especially considering that your punchline is just "no offense".

Anthony Jeselnik: Thoughts and Prayers 2015
It got real repetitive after a while and I'm over the edgelord persona at this point. All of the comedians are doing the "oh I'm against political correctness" bit and it's old.

Jimmy Carr: Funny Business 2016
Man, I don't know, there were a few good laughs but I mostly didn't like it tbh

Proud Mary 2018
It has nothing to do with the song Proud Mary. Which means that it’s boring and slow and the 88 minutes just seemed to never end. I love Taraji P. Henson but this was a letdown. The trailer promises a fast paced intense action movie but this is boring and slow.

Mechanic: Resurrection 2016
The only good thing about this movie is Jason Statham, who is eternally watchable, even with a dumb script. He has the charisma to carry this movie, but everything else is ridiculous and cartoony.
The plot is rushed and weak, with seriously dumb ideas showcased on every level. First off, Statham and Alba's 'love story' is ridiculous. She is supposed to be the bait, which he knows, but he still falls for it? Okay.
They seriously milk it with Alba… -
Magic Mike XXL 2015
It's a dance movie with a bit of stripping. I'm actually surprised by the many positive reviews. The ending is so half-assed, it's actually sad.
The filming and editing is actually quite nice and Channing Tatum is a great dancer. -
Vacation 2015
The movie didn't have much to offer. There were a couple good jokes, I had a few laughs but honestly, it was a letdown.
I would like to give credit to Ed Helms who is a pretty decent lead, but the rest of the characters were dull or not exactly likable. Christina Applegate was fine as the mother too, but the jokes she was equipped with were pitiful. The puking scene was especially horrendous and unfunny, it was embarrassing to…
