  • Pride & Prejudice

    Pride & Prejudice

Romance at its peak. Main characters include:

    the hand flex

    man in puffy white shirt

    the rain

  • Dirty Dancing

    Dirty Dancing

Nobody puts Baby in the corner!

Listen, I've seen many of the dance scenes, I know the memes, but I don't think I've ever seen Dirty Dancing from start to finish. I sure as hell couldn't have told you this movie had a plot. I finally actually watched it and it did not disappoint. No wonder it's a classic, it's a lovely romantic flick with a fantastic soundtrack.

  • Shiva Baby

    Shiva Baby

It seems like everyone relates to some part of this movie. For me, it was the toxic family dynamic of pretending to be all good and having crazy secrets. The score of this movie is much appreciated.

  • Drumline

    *drumming intensifies*
A classic. I may be biased because it was a childhood favorite, but no one talk to me about my opinion. It's the best. I'll watch it anytime.

  • Eyes Wide Shut

    Eyes Wide Shut

A lot of confusion, a lot of skinny naked white women, and a lot of class commentary. The dreamlike feel of this movie is amazing.

  • Good Omens

    Good Omens

The forbidden romance between an angel and a demon, of course

  • Girl, Interrupted

    Girl, Interrupted

Angelina Jolie is incredible in this. This is such a star studded cast, I didn't realize just how huge this movie was, and considering that it's a classic, I haven't seen it before. The fact that Elizabeth Moss and Brittany Murphy is in it is somehow messing with the timeline of actors for me, which is stupid, but here we are. Can't believe I haven't seen it before, damn...

  • The Queen's Gambit

    The Queen's Gambit

There were some tired tropes in here, for sure, but much of this show was insanely enjoyable and I know it'd be my Tubmlr obession in 2013. It's stunning visually, satisfyingly gritty in places, sooo aesthetically pleasing and it fuels all my dark academia desires.

  • Thor: Ragnarok

    Thor: Ragnarok

I'm so hyped for Love and Thunder, I think Thor: Ragnarok is still my favorite from the entire MCU

  • Doctor Strange

    Doctor Strange

I know many people are like ugh Strange is shitty we don't like him. I really like this movie, I like Strange, I like sorcerers, I like Tilda Swinton. That's all I have to say.

  • The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Absolutely loved the show, although I think the last episode was kind of too short and possibly cut down too short. I absolutely loved it either way, the way this incredibly huge franchise brought the topic of racism into the limelight with such grace and such amazing ability, that is something to respect. We need shows like this with money and influence behind them to respectfully discuss the topic, and to do it this well. Hats off!

  • The Avengers

    The Avengers

This is possibly still the most entertaining Avengers movie tbh
