  The film is bursting with cliches but idk man it’s actually kinda fun . the third act is a completely different film and I almost admire the big plot twist for how laughably inconsequential it is  🤷‍♂️

  I’ve never felt more indifferent about an MCU film. It’s good , until it’s average , until it’s good, until it’s average again. It was missing an ingredient - I just have no clue what it is. The stakes were so grand but I felt very little.  Bizarre film.

  Hmmm.
  John David Washington 🤔.
  The film is fine. As a performer, the film feeling like a theatre performance actually kept me really invested, with it basically being one enormous conversation. 

  John David Washington (by some miracle) was the superior performer, with Zendaya often feeling inauthentic. Despite this, Washington once again falls short of a performance close to anything remarkable.
