An exhilarating ride that lacks a ton of multiversal content despite being ABOUT the multiverse.
Glad they didn't rely heavily on gimmick but also disappointed we didn't get to see more multiversal elements.
This is definitively a Sam Raimi movie, down to the Danny Elfman score. It's highlighted by scenes that will homage to Raimis Spider-Man Trilogy.
My boii got silly stringed 😭
Wanda, America and Wong are heavy lifters in this movie and do such a wonderful job at bringing the action and emotional weight.
The breakneck pace of this film truly overpowers the midling narrative, it's plot is superficial but it's execution is flawless.
This is the first MCU film where you need to have prior experience of the MCU to understand what is going on. Infinity War, Endgame and Wandavision are all super key elements to this film.
DO NOT expect a lot of cameos, the ones we do get though are a ton of fun!
It's a joyful thrill ride of a movie and yall are gonna have a blast!
