bro i yelled “GAIL THE SNAIL” when the cooky redhead coroner showed up cause i thought it was the same actress when it was in fact very obviously NOT her 💀. only ever saw this one with german dubbing in cinemas so this felt like a pretty fresh watch.

loses the guerilla look by toning down the editing and having its nasty visuals thrive a bit more in color. updated cinematography in many ways, and i can’t believe i’m saying this but i miss the distinct washed out grit of its predecessors just a little bit. i get that the Spierigs did their own thing though. and it’s good! the red helix trap and the laser collar are two of my favs now!! as a whole i’d probably rank it after the first three films
